Hi, I posted earlier that whenever I scan a form into K1000 it does not scan propperly. I am having problems actually filling out the form. Does anyone have any tips or advice? I've tried using the commands in the manual, but nothing seems to work.
Also, I think the powercord is going out on my dell laptop. I went to a staff meeting and when i got back, my laptop was turned off. I unplugged all the cords and plugged them back in. But, my laptop still did not turn on. Luckily, my co-worker happened to bring her Dell, so I'm using her power cord right now. Does anyone know if the powercord needs to be specific to the computer model? Any hints? Also, where is a good place I can buy a new laptop battery? I'm thinking online. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Not sure about k1000, I use an older version.
As for the power cord, have a sighted person look and see if there are specific model numbers or other identifying information. The you should probably be able to contact dell for a replacement, or you might be able to find it on ebay.
